Privacy Policy
Minute Loans (minuteloan.co.za) treats your personal information as exactly that - personal. This policy sets out our practices under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA): what we gather, why, who sees it, and the rights you keep throughout.
Information We Gather
Application forms and emails give us what you choose to share: name, SA ID number, contact details, income and loan requirements, and - for ITC Clearance requests - particulars of your debt and credit standing. Standard technical data such as IP addresses is logged for security.
Our Purposes
One purpose family only: assessing your enquiry, matching you with an appropriate NCR-registered credit provider or clearance consultant, and communicating with you about it. ITC Clearance consent additionally authorises retrieval of your credit reports from registered bureaus, since the service cannot run without them.
Recipients
Submissions arrive at info@minuteloans.co.za and travel no further than the registered providers or consultants required for your specific request. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for unrelated marketing.
Retention
Information is kept only as long as processing your enquiry and legal record-keeping demand, then deleted.
Your POPIA Rights
At any time you may request access to your information, its correction, or its deletion (where no legal retention duty applies); you may also object to processing or withdraw consent. Direct any such request to info@minuteloans.co.za. Unresolved concerns may be escalated to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Security and Updates
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards protect your information against loss and unauthorised access. Policy updates publish on this page; questions are welcome via the contact page.
